The citizens of planet Cimexus are small highly-intelligent bugs, and live in dense forests. Compared to the scale of the globe to their size, their world could very well be multiple times larger than Earth. Their villages unify all the thousands of species and races of bugs, even snails and scorpions and other forest creatures that size. They are very peaceful, and more intelligent than humans, as evidenced by the way they talk and conduct themselves.
The citizens of Cimexus have the power to, with the help of a human's heart and love of bugkind, transform into massive war drones.
All citizens of Cimexus, despite highly potent and intelligent, are highly swayed by the magic of the human heart, and the wellbeing of their very world hinges on them should humans appear again. Cimexus is ruled by cards, a potent ancient mechanical magic utilizing the citizens of Cimexus themselves as catalysts.
The player's group, is lead by Yamato, Tsubasa, and Dr. Sakuma, the central units being their drones, a rhinoceros beetle, butterfly, and snail. The group recruits 13 allies, including a stag beetle, firefly, dragonfly, ladybug, praying mantis, killer bee, pillbug, cicada, locust, roach, moth, spider, and centipede.
