Dragonfly

The dragonfly is a specialized high-output flying gun drone, with 6 MOV, larger capability of defense, and anti-ground guns. Dragonflies almost always have the best and most powerful guns, and enemy dragonflies are highly-equipped like the cicada and locust. Akane from Hydel's subordinate unit pilots a dragonfly drone.

The dragonfly, if you know how stats work, is heavily impacted by being a flying unit, a gun unit, and an anti-ground unit. Add this to that the dragonfly is on the fence with cannons and has a large movement range, and the dragonfly ends up almost entirely unsuable in later levels. The dragonfly has low speed for a flying unit, and its final gun is non-beam type and only upgrades speed a very small amount. The dragonfly is, however, very useful in the middle of the game, with very high defense, and good guns that are effective against unarmored drones. and the dragonfly stays somewhat useful in tanking single enemies in the endgame story chapters, and is a particularly excellent fetch drone. As an enemy, the dragonfly is deadly, as dragonflies always have cards in the Badlands, and are always fully-outfitted with two attack boosters.
