The butterfly is a healing-specialized drone, capable of doubling the effects of all healing cards. This ability is used heavily by, both, the player in the first half of the game, and the enemy in the latter half.

Y-Ite[]

Y-Ite is Tsubasa's partner, and also one of only two Cimexans who are main characters and have dialogue, the other being Yamato's partner, K-Buto.

The butterfly is the only drone who can use healing cards at twice power, making her a staple for using level 1 and 2 healing cards. She is the most early-powerful and consistent gun unit in the game, with the highest gun accuracy, and the most powerful non-centipede gun. The butterfly is the only drone in the game who can earn its final weapon before the endgame Badlands- in the final map before that point, in fact. Although the map is fairly difficult, it is possible to get it fairly early in the story chapters (considering its power), giving her an attack power easily over all other drones and with beam element to boot. Butterflies suffer from high natural speed but crippling low defense, requiring a defense booster (or two) to survive one hit in most cases later in the game, but with its ability to heal, especially from far away, it does not need a good defense in some playing styles. In the endgame, especially the Badlands, the butterfly becomes the most annoying enemy unit, as an enemy butterfly can take an entire turn worth of damage away by using its highly-common Katydid Song cards, and often for as many turns as it stays alive. During this time, the player will most probably have enough Morpho Dance cards that they don't need the butterfly.
